I was flattered and excited to be asked to share a small spot on air with my friend Annie Gaffney from 90.3 ABC Coast FM Radio. On the first Tuesday (sound familiar?) of each month, around 9.40am, I will be chatting with Annie about a few brand new books of various styles. Our first discussion was a couple of weeks ago, and we talked about three books, Currawalli Street by Christopher Morgan, The Cartographer by Peter Twohig, and How to Walk a Puma by Peter Allison.

We are into 2012 already, and thankfully there are some wonderful new books, and many on the way.

S.Sean Tretheway (alias Sean the Magician) has his new book now in store. This is an adventure tale with a difference. Sail the seas, explore the jungles and find jewels of knowledge and wisdom (and have a heap of fun along the weay!).

How Tea Cosies Changed the World, the third book from Loani Prior, will be available in April. Let me know if you would like a signed copy, and stand by for details regarding a book launch to celebrate the release.

Our friend Susanna de Vries will be releasing a book titled The Royal Mistresses of the House of Hanover-Windsor in time for Mother's Day. I am waiting on detailed information, but this looks like a perfect book for those who love a bit of scandal with their history!
