Greetings!

If I didn't have the constant support and encouragement of my local community, I certainly would not be here today. It's coming up to four years since I tentatively opened my doors, and was quickly confronted by the GFC. I am heartened by my customers' obvious passion for books, which doesn't look like waning anytime soon, and for their loyalty to, and interest in, my little business. Thank you.

Happy reading,

from Annie & Lyn

EVENTS

AUSTRALIA'S BIGGEST MORNING TEA!

Morning Tea

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is the major fundraising opportunity for the Cancer Council, and we are excited to be holding this fantastic event for the third time. Last year we were proud to raise around $5,000 which went into the coffers to be used to continue the research and support provided by the Cancer Council of Australia.

We all have been touched by cancer - either ourselves, our family or our friends, and this is a simple and enjoyable way to make a real contribution to this charity which does so much for cancer sufferers and their families. The wonderful Peregian Beach Village traders have chipped in again this year with a big selection of raffle prizes, as have many of my book publishers and many other people.

Ryan and his mad crew from Shanghai Sally's Tea & Furniture Emporium will be providing the tea and coffee - a huge donation on their part - and we will welcome donations of baked goodies on the day of the morning tea, or the afternoon before. Any assistance with cakes, biscuits etc. will be greatly appreciated.
